MOM’S NEW SCULPTURE and GRATITUDE TO MY INSTRUCTORS Cont.

Happy Wednesday to You!

I hope you are settling back into the groove of the working life after the holiday break.

I’ve been busy filming and meeting various deadlines. I’ve enjoyed some great time in the gym and have been continuing my drawing in the evenings after my tai-chi.

The holidays were great for me. I really feel fantastic after getting several days of deep rest and just having no schedule at all. I love that!

As some of you may remember from previous blogs, my mother is a sculptor.

She’s creating a new sculpture of Father Gregory Boyle as part of her series of peace people.

Here you can see the sculpture in progress. I thought it may be fun for you to see it now, and when she finishes it, I can show you what it looks like then too.

For those of you that are interested in a lovely, succinct tour of the humanitarians my mother has sculptured and a chance to learn a little something about each of these special people, her book, Humanitarians for Justice, Nonviolence and Peace: Journey of an Unexpected Sculptor is available on Amazon.com.

The book is very beautifully done with great photos and is an easy, informative read. I hope you enjoy it.

Now I’m excited to share in the continuation of my celebration of the amazing CHEK Institute instructors with me!

I hope you are enjoying meeting them and learning a little about the symbols in their New Years cards.

Robert Yang:

Dear Robert,

Thank you for your constant pursuit of personal and professional excellence. You are a beautiful living example of what a true CHEK Practitioner can look and act like and for that I’m very grateful.

Thank you for teaching the CHEK and HLC courses so well for all these years and for getting our message to the athletic community so well.

I’m grateful for your pleasant nature and for always being right on with meeting your learning and teaching objectives over the years we’ve worked together.

Thank you for being such a committed father and husband too. Again, a great example for all Chek Practitioners in the world!

Robert’s Card:

Robert is a very strong, incredibly well put together man. He is quiet, but not ever idol or dull. His crown is that of a “King”, for he is a king when it comes to integrating the best of the modern world and the world of CHEK.

His third eye has a golden heart because I feel that he’s got everyone’s best interest at heart, which guides his creative vision.

The blue represents his water-nature, which cools his powerful mind. The diamonds with gold circles and black dots represent all Robert’s clients and students that keep learning and growing with his guidance.

JP Sears:

Dear JP,

To say that watching you grow up hasn’t been like seeing the Tour de’ France of holistic healing and education right before my eyes is an understatement!

You have applied yourself beautifully to both your studies with myself and others, as well as your own personal growth. For a many of your age, you carry the wisdom of an old wise one.

Your ability to help people find the core of their pain and challenges is amazing!

Thank you so much for not only helping me fulfill my legacy, but for being one of the most nurturing, peaceful friends I’ve ever had! I look forward to an excellent 2012 together JP!

JP’s Card:

This is a drawing of my actual hand giving JP one of his beloved espresso shots in the morning, which we have enjoyed countless times together.

The Indians meet around the campfire, and we meet around Electra, my beautiful hand made Italian espresso machine, where we discuss the issues of the world regularly.

I love to make espresso for JP and share our lives together, which is why the word “Love” is written in the crema on his espresso.

The cup is black because both of us are constantly embracing change and the challenges that go with it.

The yellow light bursting from the cup expresses my love of JP and all the hearts represent all the people that benefit from JP’s espresso habit, which helps fuel his love and accomplishments!

The artery in my hand is a reminder that in just a few seconds, that espresso will be running through his veins, changing everything!

Josh Ruben:

Dear Josh,

Thank you for all your love and support over the years and in 2011. Your love of learning is akin to the love a wild horse has for running!

Your capacity to tackle complex and new concepts is right up there with the best of them! You have helped me guide thousands to better health and well-being and for that I’m eternally grateful!

You have been instrumental in sharing the news of the CHEK way to more than I can count through your radio show and the many other offerings you constantly give birth to.

I look forward to the most successful of our years together in 2012!

Josh’s Card:

Josh’s mind is represented in the big heart. His capacity to juggle and synthesize complex topics is represented by the diamonds of wisdom expressed within the heart of his mind.

His hair is full of hearts, which represents all Josh’s students and followers. The triad below over the throat represents the triad of body-mind-spirit, which is what Josh is here to fulfill in this lifetime.

The face in quiet repose is a reminder to Josh that our best thinking comes when we are detached from forcing any outcome and just allowing Spirit to work “through us”.

Dan Kalish:

Dear Dan,

Thank you for all the years of teaching HLC 1 and supporting the CHEK educational system. You have been a great help to too many to count.

I appreciate all that you do to help others learn, live, love and grow. Thank you for bringing spirituality into living practice as you work with others each day.

Thank you for being brave enough to create a life that truly works for you and nourishes your soul so you can be an example of that possibility for all who bear witness.

I look forward to a great 2012 with you!

Dan’s Card:

This card is called “Medicine Man” and Dan Kalish is truly a Medicne Man.

He has helped thousands heal from complex problems in his career. Dan is a master of integrating aboriginal and modern methods for a beautiful synthesis that makes healing safer and faster for all who seek his advice.

The Medicine man has breasts because he exemplifies both balance of, and mastery of all the elements that create life.

The bird at the top of the card represents Dan’s soul, which is forever looking out for others and guiding them back to health and well-being.

The Medicine Man’s mask is a black heart mask trimmed in gold because healing is always about transition; a transition that both the doctor and the patient go through, learn in, and change because of the process.

The fire coming from the Medicine Man’s head exemplifies how much energy and knowledge Dan Kalish has to share!

The strong representation of water and fire represents the fact that Dan spends most of his time helping others balance their fire and water energies, without which, nothing else matters much!

Ashley Mazurek:

Dear Ashley,

Thanks for a great year of learning, teaching and growing together.

You have grown tremendously as a presenter and instructor over the past few years and I appreciate all the constant effort you put into improving yourself in body, mind and Spirituality.

You are truly a living example to all who witness or interact with you! Your willingness to explore your inner-world, heal, and grow has made you an excellent example not only of the CHEK Practitioner and HLC programs, but the PPS program as well. For that I’m eternally grateful.

I’m also very grateful for the amazing example you are to the women of the world. Your athletic success and your amazing diversity as a teacher to humanity is highly commendable, not to mention how beautifully you share your living philosophy with your partner and your children.

I look forward to an abundant, joyous 2012 working and sharing life together.

Ashley’s Card:

Ashley is a conduit for “Father Nature”; everyone speaks of and knows something of “Mother Nature”, but few reflect on “Father Nature”.

Father Nature is represented in Ashley’s love of the sun and nature at large, none of which could be here without the amazing, healing energies of the sun.

His eyes are stars with black in the middle because no day is every the same under the sun, and all that Father Nature gives is of Unconditional Love.

The larger face is the face of a proud lion; Ashley’s presence is that of a female lionesses, yet the energy she radiates is one that creates comfortable bonds and affinity with the male nature.

He is smiling from atop of “The Mountain”, which is a metaphysical representation for one’s own center. Ashley is a very loving, caring woman and she touches all who are willing to be present with her and hear her wise words with her heart.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed my BLOG today.

Wishing all of you blessings of radiant health!

Love and chi,

Paul Chek
