Vital Is The Spring!

Happy Friday!

I’m taking the day at the house today to do some outdoor rock stacking and resting.

I leave on Wednesday next week for Toronto where I’ll be teaching my flagship PPS course: How To Find and Live Your Legacy! next weekend, August 10-12. It’s going to be a fun workshop for me with great students seeking to be empowered in their next steps to their fulfilling life!

I’m looking forward to meeting you if you join me there. To register please go to: www.PPSsuccess.com

I hope you enjoy my Tao-Te-zen today:

Vital is the Spring!

Spring begins with melting snow,
As sunshine bright begins to warm
Birds are singing in the trees!

Bird whistle

Flowers flirting with the bees,
Vital is the spring

As mother awakens from her sleep,
The force of nature flows through you

Now is time to thaw.

The chilly water refreshes your heart,
Let your vitality flow.

You are the light that brings change,
To each you love anew

Begin each day as vital as the spring.

TAO-TE-zen practice is as a flute,
Let the seasons blow through
Your music rises in the air.

Practice letting nature dance with you.
The humming birds
They see your eyes,
Your love will bring them close to you.

Zen is the valley of the rising green.
Be careful where you tread,

All the earth is a seed bed.

Zen sits quietly among the trees listening,
Wind whistles . . .

As the breeze blows through,
She whispers her story in your ear,
It is of one—not two.

Let’s start with the first word – “vital”. “Vital” means alive at the highest possible level, within which healthy balance can be maintained. Vital is life itself.

“Vital” means until you are a master at “isness”, you have not yet come to know your potential for vitality. For isness is peak accumulation simply due to the fact that to achieve isness, one must become nothing.

One must be empty – gutted. One must not even hear the sound. Air settling in a deep well. The spring is represented as the departure of that state.

When stillness emerges as something, as anything, even for a trillionth of a second, it is known by all, as all. It is not achieving zero state that gives one the experience of the grandeur of vitality.

For the same reason that a photon probably has no idea that it’s a photon, or the same reason that an eye cannot see. It’s coming out of that place. It’s the moment you remember yourself as someone.

As a window there we’re connected to it all, and to the degree that it doesn’t scare the shit out of you, you can look around.

You can see the mansion that the yogis and the masters talk about.

I’ve seen it. I see it right now. I can see it all the time. Once you’ve been there a few times, you figure the tricks out. You figure out what the bails are made of, how to lift it.

It’s funny. God is funny!

It’s when you spring – POP – into awareness, returning from the zero state to the state of your little one, that you get your acquaintance to the true meaning of the word “spring”.

Spring is where it all begins. It is birth. It is peak accumulation expressing itself as life. It is stillness jumping into action. Like an eighteen year old boy responding to the request of a foxy 23-year-old girl who is so beautiful that he cannot take it – old enough that she would be a treasure hunt, worthy of dying for.

At least that’s what testosterone has to say about it.

So now when we say to each other, us TAO-TE-zen practitioners, “Good morning. How are you today?” and we reply with “Vital. Vital is the spring. Vital! Vital is the spring!” we will understand, we’ll have unity.

May wholeness enliven you today and through your weekend!

Love and chi!
