I See My Fire ~*~
Happy Day to All!!
My vlog today is about my spiritual practice and I thought you might enjoy my recent poem.
Sometimes, it is easier for me to share what I’m feeling through my art and non-linear words. I’d love to hear what you think and feel after you connect with my message today. 🙂
My Poem’s name is “I SEE MY FIRE”. Below is my drawing that expresses my fire!
My faculty and I had an amazing day together yesterday where we harmonized our individual energies for the collective whole. I really love my Instructors, they truly are living examples of my philosophy and I’m proud to celebrate their successes with you!
After lunch we had a really fun drum session together and it really helped everyone come into resonance with each other, besides getting ready for my afternoon lecture on the first principle in my coaching model: Love!
Chef Lance Roll (The Flavor Chef) is providing organic food for the benefit of everyone this week. If you haven’t had Chef Lance’s food yet, it really is spiced with Love! Thanks, Lance, for feeding my team!
Speaking of which, one of my Instructors couldn’t get a visa to join the meeting so I wanted to acknowledge her latest book: Rocket Fuel on A Budget.
Joanna Rushton is an HLC1 instructor in Sydney, Australia. She has a diverse background and besides being an amazing chef, Jo is a very conscientious C.H.E.K Practitioner and teacher of the C.H.E.K Institute’s message, as well as founder of the Energy Coaching Institute.
Jo has created a beautiful, practical book to help people with financial constraints learn how to eat very well on a budget. It’s beautifully presented, enjoyable to read, and loaded with practical tips every family can use to live a healthier life on a budget. I love Jo’s food and I suspect you will too when you apply her methodology and recipes for yourselves!
Lastly, I wanted to let you know about an upcoming class here in San Diego that I feel is very good for anyone working to make structural corrections to the body.
Alexander Technique Introductory Class for Beginners by Eileen Troberman
In the C.H.E.K Advanced Training programs, I expose my students to a wide variety of corrective exercise approaches that I’ve studied, experienced, and practiced. The Alexander Technique is a very unique, effective method for correcting posture and restoring optimal motor (movement) efficiency to the body-mind.
In the late 80’s and early 90’s, I did a Feldenkrais training program that included 100 hours of training by Frank Wildman, who was trained by Moshe Feldenkrais himself. I found the approach very effective in my clinical practice for a wide variety of movement disorders.
In my studies, I came across the writings and teachings of F.M. Alexander, and Raymond A. Dart, who was a university professor in South Africa. Raymond Dart did a very beautiful job of explaining the science behind the Alexander technique.
Having studied Feldenkrais work, and read all the books written by Feldenkrais, I was impressed with the parallels of intention by uniquely different pathways or approaches by which the two systems are founded.
My interest was piqued and I felt compelled to find a skilled Alexander Practitioner to work with so I could experience the work first hand. I found a very skilled, very experienced Alexander Practitioner – Eileen Troberman – right in my home town, which was Encinitas, California at the time.
I booked a series of sessions with Eileen and found the work to be fascinating, gentle, and effective, yet noticeably different in delivery than the Feldenkrais method. I began sharing clients with Eileen and saw only great results.
For those of you who are C.H.E.K Practitioners or HLC Practitioners in my system, if you can make it to this workshop, I think you will be well-rewarded. To learn about the effectiveness of any technique, the most important element in the experience is a Masterful teacher. Eileen is that person! She’s a very skilled, wise, soft, loving, capable woman. You won’t be disappointed.
Well that’s it for today! In summary, the act of looking is ultimately the act of what’s looking (God) and by expressing the boomerang of Love it always comes back to roost where it left!
AH HO Great Spirit!
Love and chi,
Paul Chek
