ANGELS! (Mirrors, Crystal Balls and Angels Part 3 of 3)

Hello and happy Friday to All!

I hope you found beauty in your day yesterday.

I hope you are taking a moment to look at the mirrors in your life so reflections can be used to cultivate representations that reflect your dreams.

When we all learn to dream life-affirmatively, life will be the way, and unnecessary pain and hording of resources will be a story about the past, the way we lived when we fell asleep watching, and believing in the media.

A friend of mine, Corey Jung, sent me a link to a music video that highlights the state of humanity and it’s impact on the world and each other. It’s well produced, the music is enjoyable, and the message is authentic! You can view it here if you’d enjoy a little break and reminder of the importance of accepting responsibility for your mind and your dreams:

Work for Peace

I had a great day yesterday. I had a lovely time coaching one of my Zero Force Coaching clients in New Zealand. I’m so proud of her willingness to learn and grow. On our call, I shared several ways to grow and develop her intuition and cultivate her clairvoyance. We both had fun with the exercises.

I also made good progress with my updates to How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!

We are getting lots of CHEK Conference registrations and I had confirmation from JP Sears that he will offer a presentation or two as well.

I was very excited to hear that from him. JP has been studying and working with me for many years now and I have been blessed to watch him grow into a world class CHEK Practitioner and life-coach. He’s done a great job of studying a variety of teachers and amalgamating their gems into his own unique approach to coaching.

It’s always exciting to see the many ways my students individuate and offer their own unique message and method. If you’ve never had a chance to hear JP present, I’m sure you will be pleased with the experience. He’s got a great sense of humor and sometimes, his jokes take a few minutes to unfold; you may find yourself laughing three minutes after the joke, so, be ready for the delayed response. No need to be embarrassed though, the laughter will usually come like popcorn going off instead of the typical one wave experience.

I also did two great workouts yesterday. Gary Crozier bought a sled we can load with weights and push or pull in the gym along the track. I loaded that baby up with 300+ and drug it two lengths of the track and then pushed it two lengths of the track coupled with alternating single arm bench press with a 90º roll on a Swiss ball.

I did three sets of this mini circuit, which was a nice little ball buster of a workout. People in the institute probably thought I was either being tortured or having an orgy in the gym! Later in the day when I needed a break from writing, I came back and did a repeat of that workout.

Thank God I’ve got a massage and a steam booked today.

Well, that’s what’s up in my life at the moment.

Let’s finish our series with an understanding of how to recognize and embrace the “Angels” in our lives!

ANGELS

In the first edition of this series, I discussed the mirror effect. I shared that the mirror has three qualities, which are essentially equal to the three attributes attributed to the soul by Plotinus:

  • Reflection
  • Representation
  • Abiding

Plotinus is one of my favorite philosophers. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Plotinus, here’s a brief introduction I copied from www.wikipedia.com:

Plotinus (Greek: Πλωτῖνος) (ca. CE 204/5-270) was a major philosopher of the ancient world. In his system of theory there are the three principles: the One, the Intellect, and the Soul.[1] His teacher was Ammonius Saccas and he is of the Platonic tradition.[2] Historians of the 19th century invented the term Neoplatonism and applied it to him and his philosophy which was influential in Late Antiquity. Much of the biographical information about Plotinus comes from Porphyry‘s preface to his edition of Plotinus’ Enneads. His metaphysical writings have inspired centuries of Pagan, Christian, Jewish, Islamic and Gnostic metaphysicians and mystics.

His writings are DEEEEP and meaningful.

When I’ve shared his books and writings with friends who enjoy metaphysical teaching, they usually needed help in translating his teachings such that they could understand them relative to today’s lingo. If you read any of his works and have questions as to what he’s saying, feel free to post such questions on the blog site and I’ll do my best to assist you.

I’ve found his teachings some of the most authentic, meaningful and practical of all the philosophers I’ve studied, which is many.

I shared how using the mirror method coupled with sacred listening can be very helpful in your own self-development and as a means of cultivating meaningful relationships with others in your life.

I then highlighted the crystal ball in Part 2 of this series. I shared that the crystal ball represents looking into the future.

Learning what your life will look like if you emulate any given individual, or select personality traits of an individual. Using the crystal ball, we can consciously shape our self-awareness such that our thoughts and actions are in harmony with the values we’ve chosen to live by.

We can also use the crystal ball to see how our life may play out if we inherit negative traits from others as well. Now that you are caught up, let’s discuss “Angels”.

Angels

Angels, as I’m using the term here, represent people that show up in our lives to help us achieve our dreams. They are generally people with some, or all of the following attributes:

  • They are usually very successful in one or more endeavors.
  • They generally have significant amounts of real world experience.
  • They are typically very busy, committed people.
  • They often have strong family values.
  • They are very clear, from experience, when helping someone may actually disable them. They don’t just hand out money as favors and aren’t your typical lender types. Angels are highly tuned to authenticity, good ideas, and have a high level of awareness as to what constitutes authentic help.
  • They have very clearly defined personal core values. Because they are typically very busy, successful people, they value their personal time and will not allow anyone to abuse it.
  • They will not do your work for you, but are very good at pointing you in the right direction so that your efforts are both efficient and effective. They usually have a very well developed network of people of similar caliber and will share their contacts with you to the degree that you display adequate maturity to value and respect their referrals.
  • They are very wise people who can smell the rat of foolishness, neediness, and any self-defeating behavior traits.
  • They are generally very open minded, yet, aren’t easy to convince of ideas or strategies that aren’t rational or are impractical.
  • If abused, you will rarely ever get a chance at receiving guidance or assistance from then again! This isn’t because they are unkind. It is because they value their time, energy and efforts such that they wisely save them for people that will use their advise and help effectively in the world.

Each person we meet is an angel to the degree that we benefit from the mirror or crystal ball.

Angels as I’m describing them here are people that have an uncanny ability to appear in your life at exactly the time you need them, and are ready to hear them. They have often been watching you for some time at a distance to evaluate your readiness for their help.

For example, years ago, when Chris Maund and Janet Alexander were working with me in the institute, they had just entered into escrow on a new home. After the deal was signed, the owner decided they didn’t want to sell.

Naturally, this frustrated Chris and Janet and they weren’t sure at the time what was legal in this regard, or how to handle the situation because most of their experience with home purchasing was in other countries. It just so happened that one of my clients at the time, who I ended up sharing with them to take care of for the long-run, is one of the most successful commercial real-estate investors in the world.

When they explained their situation, I suggested they give our shared client a call. He knew exactly what to do, which lawyer to contact and how to handle the situation.

In short order, Chris and Janet had the law on their side and found that what the owner had done was illegal. They got their house, which they still live in today.

That is an example of how an Angel can appear in your life.

In my life, I’ve had the opportunity to be an Angel to many people. I love doing it when I can.

Sadly, many of the people who I gave an Angel opportunity to became a royal pain in the ass. They often don’t follow through with meeting objectives and frequently end up using your contacts disrespectfully.

All this does is make Angels more critical of who and when they will offer help.

Now matter how challenging your dream creation seems to be, it is important to remember that there are Angels all around. They are astute observers. When you are clear, they know it.

When your motives are backed by good intentions, they both know it and are often willing to help. That help may be a guiding hand. It may be investing in your endeavor. It may be encouragement.

But you have to be open to Angels and be able to recognize when one is in your presence.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this short series on mirrors, crystal balls, and Angels.

Enjoy your weekend and I’ll look forward to sharing more with you Monday.

Love and chi,

Paul Chek
