Embracing The Change Process Pt. 1/3

Happy Tuesday!

Sorry I’ve been a bit irregular with my blogs lately. I’ve been very bust training Faculty HLC1 and coaching clients, as well as all that comes with owning businesses…

Today, I begin a three part series on the change process.

Our education systems give us little to no training on the change process, so change is naturally much more challenging for people in general.

I often tell my students, “To change is to learn and to learn is to change – if you can’t change, you can’t learn, and if you can’t learn, you can’t grow!”

With that in mind, let’s see what I have in store for you in my vlog today.

Embracing The Change Process Pt. 1/3

In my video today, I overview the five steps of the change process commonly recognized and used today. They are:

1. Pre-contemplation
2. Contemplation
3. Preparation
4. Action, and
5. Maintenance

For efficiency, I’ve grouped the first three under the heading of “Preparation”, which is the topic of my vblog today.

I begin by over-viewing the steps to effective change are. Then, I outline six common indicators that change is needed in your life.

I then share my thoughts regarding why so many people have a hard time changing.

I finish by sharing tips for using my basic 4 Doctor model as a functional structure or matrix in which you can expand on your dream/motive and the 4 Doctor core values that will support your change process for the long-run.

The resources I’ve suggested as helpful for anyone wanting to optimize the change process are:
1. How To Eat Move and Be Healthy Book – video
2. The 1-2-3-4 For Overcoming Addiction, Obesity, and Disease MP3 Audio + workbook
3. Paint a Circle Around Your Arrow…ebook
3. PPS Success Mastery Lesson 1. How To Find and Live Your Legacy (Dream)

I hope you enjoy the series!

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
