The Bliss of Being Home!

Happy Monday to You!

It’s so great to be home!

I hope you all had a great (Easter) weekend.

After getting home and getting my feet on the ground again, I was excited to head up to Riverside, CA on Friday to visit Angie Lustrick; Angie was voted The Ultimate Chek Professional by her peers at the CHEK Conference in San Diego last summer.

Angie’s got a great arrangement with a big athletic club in Riverside that allows her to train her clients in their facility, while she maintains her store of health support products and does her Bio-Meridian testing next door.

Angie’s staff was lovely to meet and they did a Bio-Meridian test protocol on me. I turned out to be pretty healthy.

Angie said the readings showed that my cells are as healthy as a boy of a bout 10 years old. Cool. I feel about 10 when I’m playing in my garden and living my love, so that’s works out well.

The testing identified some stress on my liver/gall bladder system and some small intestine inflammation.

I wasn’t surprised because I got a bit crazy eating Mexican hot foods and salsa every day and started to have some swelling and discomfort in my small intestine. That and the fact that I can normally only handle corn about once every four days and I was enjoying the amazing hand made tortillas most days would account for the readings. She also found that I was zinc deficient so I’ll address that starting today.

Here you can see Angie in her new store space. She’s just finishing all the remodeling of the space and this is her enjoying her brand new floor.

I’m really excited for her and her team. Angie really does a wonderful job of guiding people to well-being and she’s trained her staff well.

The day before I went to visit Angie, I had this vision of our day together so I drew it.

I didn’t realize it until after I’d emailed it to her to share it with her that I would arrive on the day of the full moon.

My intuition seems to know much more about things than I do so I’ve learned to trust it and go with the flow. I knew as soon as I saw this drawing that we were going to have a great day together.

After I got a tour of Angie’s facility, the athletic club she works out of, and did the testing she offered me, we went to her place to enjoy art, music, dancing, tai-chi, and some great food together.

I really love this mandala we created together so I thought I’d share it with all of you too.

It’s very fun and can be deeply healing when people get together and create art together.

Vidya and I have really enjoyed and benefited from our many co-creations like this. Give it a try. You’d be amazed at what happens when the best of you meets the best of another on paper! Great fun.

Saturday I was pretty tired. I have been quite sleep deprived from my trip to Mexico; it was so hot at night I couldn’t sleep well. It all seemed to hit me Saturday. I just laid around in my yard on my nice new Mexican blanket I brought home.

I didn’t do much of anything that day. I enjoyed a movie and some lovely food with Vidya and Penny in the evening to end the day.

Sunday, I had more energy and was ready for some good exercise. I did a long tai-chi session outside in my yard. Vidya and I did a juice and tea fast Sunday and with the tai-chi, I felt very good.

Here you can see one of the many amazing rock stacks that Vidya built out in the garden Sunday.

She’s always tuned to nature and loves expressing herself in most any medium. We also did some fun art that day too. Here you can see Vidya’s drawing for the day:

Sunday, after I got my tai-chi done, I felt up to a piece of art. I had this vision of a bunny sitting in my yard.

There are several rabbits on our property and they are very friendly. There’s one in particular that seems very comfortable around us. I knew this rabbit would be making an appearance since it showed up in my vision.

Sure enough, Vidya and I were laying in the front yard relaxing under the sun and our rabbit friend showed up and spent a good hour or so enjoying the grass literally a few feet from us. Here’s a picture of our little friend. The bunny must have wanted to see the picture I drew of it!

I had a lot of fun in my rock garden Sunday. I must have built five stacks or so. I had a stream of people stopping by to take photos and look at the rocks, which is always fun.

Here you can see two of my Sunday workout projects; the one closest to you and the tallest one. The tall one is about 12 feet tall and I had to pile rocks on top of each other to reach high enough to get the top three or four stones on it. Great balance and coordination training!

Here’s a photo of my rock garden from the street. Imagine being out wondering the back roads of Vista trying to find a friends house to come across this! You should see the many reactions I get.

People really love it. Kids seem even more intrigued than adults do, but it’s fun either way.

While I was in Mexico, I met a few amazing crafts people selling their goods on the beach. While I was visiting with Misty Tripoli, these cool locals who lived right on the beach came by and showed us their art (which they sell on the beach).

I was very impressed with the clarity and presence of these men. Their energy fields were beautiful and clean. They felt like mountain masters who lived the simple life on the beach. Their art is stunning.

I bought the bigger pendant to use under my glass water bottle.

The beautiful patterns from the seashells make for a great energy imprint to put into my water. It makes the water taste very yin, soft, wet! Love it! Especially after eating too many hot peppers!

I purchased four of the necklaces to give to people I love. This is the one I’m saving from my buddy Rory Mullin as a gift when he comes for a visit next month. Rory, if you see this, here’s a little surprise I got you in Mexico Bud!

Well, that’s it for me today.

I’m learning how to rest deeply. I’m just now slowing down inside and accepting the reality that I don’t have to work so hard to meet the demands of my daily schedule.

This is the first real break from work I’ve had longer than two weeks in my entire 28-year career and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

I’ll be sure to share all the gains I make in my inner-life with you as we go over the next few weeks.

Seize the day!
Love and chi,
Paul Chek
