Celebrating Yourself!

Happy Friday!

Well, it’s vacation time for me! Soo Cool! So very Happy to have some time off!

My buddy Rory is in town and today we are getting massages from JR Bachman, who’s an excellent massage therapist. It is sure to be a lazy day of saunas, reading, art, music, and a movie too!

I may even have to show Rory why I want to enter a popcorn-making contest. My spicy popcorn is awesome, but I do need to be careful to only share it with Mexicans and Hindus; anyone else will go into shock  from the sheer heat of it…Yum Yum!

I’ll do my best to create some blogs along the way during my vacation, sharing some of my highlights and any insights that come to me.

When I return from my vacation I’ll be teaching a one day zen In The Garden workshop here in Heaven, Escondido where we will explore the promise of 2014 by finding oneself through nature, Friday, January 9th. Join me and Vidya for this eye-opening day!

Celebrating Yourself!

I often feel sad when I interact with people around the world who are in some sort of perpetual crisis of self-denial.

There is so much pain in the people of the world at large over issues of guilt and shame, most of which is the direct byproduct of religious programming; particularly…the monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

I’ve been studying a course on “The Course In Miracles”, which is very popular among many these days. It shocks me to see how terribly convoluted the language, definitions, and explanations of God, Heaven, how we all got her, and the likes are presented in the Course In Miracles philosophy. Though the course has some great material in it, it is sadly packaged in very confusing Christian ideology; which is sadly, as far from the teachings of Jesus Christ as one could possibly get, all the while being attributed to him!

Those wanting to comprehend the actual teachings of Jesus should seriously consider reading “The Third Jesus” by Deepak Chopra; prepare to be enlightened as to what true Christianity really is!

I’ll give you a hint…it’s a religion that is largely unknown among Christians, and if it were known, the world would be a very different place.

In my vlog today, I share my insights as to why we should all celebrate the majesty of our uniqueness. By being aware of, and honest as to what Love is, and how Love works, we can get rid of all the negative self-talk and get down to the business of living, loving, and creating beauty together in the world.
