People are so obsessed with shortcuts…
Since the advent of the mobile phone, entire industries have been created by hucksters promising the world that their one app or biohack or drug can help people lose weight in record time and help them save time and money too.
How do they get away with it so often? Our distracted human race largely focuses on health problems when they can no longer avoid them, and not a second before.
What’s more, that average time-starved human being is spinning so many plates at the same time, it’s not a matter of if they break but when they break. They always do sooner or later…
Good physical and mental health takes work, attention and patience. No miracle app, pill or biohack can be an adequate substitute for doing the work, but that doesn’t stop people from looking for them.
