WE CAN’T ESCAPE OURSELVES!

Hello and happy Thursday,

A dirty river
always comes clean,
for what is not
done below
Is done above
in the
SKIES

When
Dirty Sky and dirty lung
meet each other,
each is asking for help!

Each act of environmental consciousness is an act of health-consciousness. We may be unconscious of the fact that our environmental toxins and acts of unconsciousness today becomes someone else’s problems on the other side of the globe (and vice versa) tomorrow.

When humanity comes to realize that all living beings are one big family and that we all need to be conscious of each other and support each other, the world will become a healthier, happier place for all living beings.

Every little act of compassion for Mother Nature is an act of compassion for life itself. Every act of compassion is spirituality in practice. There is no need to hire a guru when there is so much we can do right here, in the temple of our own being.

I am repeatedly asked about what to expect in 2012, are we doomed, which in my opinion is nothing but fear-based thinking – not a very healthy way to live life, for if we truly are living in the moment we can find beauty everywhere!

Wednesday, Vidya sent me a really wonderful article written by Carlos Barrios, Mayan Elder, shaman and spirit guide (he’s also an anthropologist, historian and scholar) who shared some recent thoughts about 2012.

Carlos says with authority that the world will not end but is will be transformed ~ just look around you at all the transformations taking place on the planet now, not only with weather and other earth changes, but with our banking systems, our social systems and governments worldwide.

He says, “Humanity will continue, but in a different way. Material structures will change. From this we will have the opportunity to be more human. We are living in the most important era of the Mayan calendars and prophecies. All the prophecies of the world, all the traditions are converging now. There is no time for games. The spiritual ideal of this era is action.”

If you are interested in reading more about Carlos’ insights, you can explore his book:

“The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It’s not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It’s encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way.” ~ Carlos Barrios, Mayan elder

Wishing you the path of heart and wisdom,

Love and chi,
