The Great TAO

Hello To You Today!

When we search for God, we search for something. Any something can only be but an idea. To know anything, you must know what it isn’t, or it can’t be known “as this – or that”. The Great TAO is Silent, Invisible, Unmovable, has no edge or aspect; it saturates all things created with ABSOLUTE concentration.

The Great TAO has only two qualities:
ABSOLUTELY EMPTY (SHE), and
ABSOLUTELY FULL (HE).

When they meet each other,
You are born. Yet, they never met each other, for in TAO,
there is only ONE.

As OSHO says, if you cut open a dancer,
you will not find a dance!

Today, I invite you to contemplate the following beautiful poem by Chang Chung-yuan from his beautiful book, Creativity and Taoism – A study of Chinese Philosophy, Art, and Poetry.

The mind of man searches outwardly all day.
The further it reaches
The more it opposes itself.
Only those who look inward,
Can censor their passions,
And cease their thoughts.
Being able to cease their thoughts,
Their minds become tranquil.
To tranquilize their mind is to nourish one’s spirit.
To nourish one’s spirit is to return to one’s Nature.

Anyone who truly comprehends these words,
Practices these words;
They live TAO.

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
