Diet and Gut Control + Ayahuasca In The News

Happy Wednesday to You!

I hope your week is moving along beautifully, and that you enjoyed my last vlog.

Things are going great on my end…busy as ever…but look forward to my time in my Health Mate IR sauna and my tai-chi each evening.

I’ve been working on a new painting as well, but need decent blocks of time to get any real creative work done. It’s coming along though, and I love, love, love the joy that rises in me when I paint. The “art Spirit” is real!!

Today, I’d like to share a bit of awareness on:

Diet and Gut Control

Diet and Gut Control
Today, my vlog covers important, but seldom considered physiological factors that we should all be aware of in relationship to choosing the optimal diet for our individual needs.

In the vlog, I cover:

1. The Abdominal Brain: Research has shown that the Abdominal Brain (solar plexus and inferior mesenteric plexus) has more neurons than the spinal cord and brain combined!

This seldom appreciated fact goes a long way to exemplify the absolute importance of the gut, diet, and the influence the diet and gut can have over pretty much every other system in the body.

2. The gut tube is technically not “inside the body”. From a physiological perspective (or medical perspective if you prefer), anything in the inner-space of the lumen of the digestive, eliminative tube (Entron – It begins with your mouth and ends with your anus) is not in your body.

Items in the gut are only in your body when they pass through, or are actively absorbed or “taken in” by the cells of the stomach (some substances such as alchohol), small intestine (most food stuffs), and colon (key nutrients and fluids are absorbed there).

Your immune system’s immunoglobulin A is heavily represented in the mucus membranes lining the gut tube, and in all mucus membranes.

In the video, I share that chronic stress causes a reduction in immunoglobulin, a concentration in the gut tube and mucus membranes, which can lead to many problems in the gut, such as parasite infections; the same conditions that trigger the reduced immune activity also happen to be the ideal conditions for acquiring a fungal infection.

You can learn much more about fungal and parasite infections in my DVD program titled: Healing Fungal and Parasite Infections – The Absolute Essentials.

3. Dietary influences on the abdominal brain are real and significant. Here I explain that your body is always sending you messages about what it needs.

I explain, for example, that there is a huge increase in vitamin C consumption when we are in pain. I suggest that this may be true of many nutrients, yet, how many of us are aware of our changing dietary needs during such times?

By learning to understand and listen to your body-mind, you can balance yourself before illness or disease results. This makes it much easier and more fun to live your dreams.

TIPS:
1. Consider stress factors, not just your body response.

By addressing symptoms as though they are the actual cause, we risk being on medications and altered diet and lifestyle plans – plans that are not addressing the etiology (cause) that led to the symptoms being treated.

I give tips and techniques for identifying the cause of your challenges in the resources below.

2. Individualize by needs: Body-mind?

Here I explain that there are many factors to become aware of if you want to have a healthy body-mind relationship.

I hope you enjoy my vblog today!

There is loads of practical help for you in the resources below.

Ayahuasca tea

A friend of mine sent me the link to this NY Times article about Ayahuasca tea.

Ayahuasca is now becoming much more popular in the mainstream, largely through internet awareness and a rising number of documentaries sharing information about its healing powers.
