Why is Change So Hard?
The title of this week’s blog/vlog is a conundrum people have faced literally since the beginning of time…
To put it succinctly, I believe change is hard for many reasons, but not because people aren’t capable of achieving it.
One reason why change is difficult: It’s a lot easier for people to do what they have always done, whether it’s the right thing for them to do or not.
It takes A LOT of energy to override the instinctual, developed pathways from the time you were born to get to the place where you can override the inertia, be cognizant of it and move forward.
This is why I guide my clients to focus on the positives — for example, working on having a more beautiful body and better health — rather than being motivated by the negatives.
A client’s success is governed largely by having a specific dream, goal or objective, being conscious about it and putting all of his/her energies into it.
If you know a friend or family member who needs that extra boost to make a change in their lives for the better, I strongly encourage you to share this video with them! For some people, finding that dream can be the difference between a great life and a joyless, living death…
Love and chi,
Paul
