The I~WE~ALL Of Relationships

Happy Friday to You!

First of all, I’d like to say that I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging as regularly as usual lately. My schedule is very busy and sometimes its very hard to fit blogging in.

That said, I hope you enjoy today’s blog and accompanying video.

I WE ALL of Relationships Blk Bd
We are all part of the world. We are all individuals ( ‘I’ ). Individuals are the basis of any “WE” relationship. In my I-WE-ALL system of relationship building, “WE” implies you and one other. “ALL” means that the relationship includes yourself, and at least two others.

Most of the relationship challenges I have helped people through over the years have stemmed from one, or both parties not taking responsibility for their 50% of the relationship; each relationship is what I call a “50/50 deal”.

In order to truly have healthy relationships with others, we must first become 100% present with, and congruent with oneself. Whenever we are less than fully present, we actually double the deficit in the relationship for a simple reason.

If you are only 90% present, there is 10% of you that isn’t present. Not only does this mean that you are not present, it means that the other can’t every fully connect to you, thus the relationship deficit is doubled.

If you go to the ALL level of relationship responsibility, the number of people you are communicating with multiplies the same 10% deficit. Imagine being a teacher in school who’s too rushed to meet their needs, so they are busy worrying about what “they need to do on lunch hour…” to be present with the task of teaching. What we get is a room full of kids that don’t actually have a teacher present, but a shadow of a teacher.

Naturally, this will influence the capacity for the students to learn.

In the video below, I share the importance of having core values. I share that the 4 Doctors (Dr. Happiness, Dr. Quiet, Dr. Movement, and Dr. Diet) represent our minimal requirement for categories of core values.

I encourage you to visit my multimedia ebook, The Last 4 Doctors You’ll Ever Need – How To Get Healthy Now! for an entry level approach to developing your core values.

For those of you that want to go deeper and do some more comprehensive work on your relationship building skills, I recommend the following programs:
1. The 1-2-3-4 For Overcoming Addiction, Obesity, and Disease (audio/workbook)

2. PPS Success Mastery Lesson 1. Determining Your Legacy

I hope you all enjoy the video and that you have a fantastic weekend exploring and developing your core values.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
