SOUL~BODY~MIND: Chi Flow Basics

Hello!

I send greetings and wishes for a beautiful, productive day as there is much to be grateful for.

I’ve been listening to a sad, often shocking audio book titled, Against Medical Advice – One Family’s Struggle With An Agonizing Medical Mystery, by James Freidman and Hal Patterson.

Vidya lent me this story about a boy with Tourette syndrome. The book is essentially a tour de France through the hell of medical drug treatment and the sad avoidance of natural therapies by the medical establishment.

This book is a story I’ve seen a thousand times over again in my career. As I was listening recently, there was a point in the story that really struck me and stuck with me as my motivation to write this post today.

After many very serious complications with multiple (dangerous) medications, the parents heard of a therapist that worked with diet. They consulted the therapist and were told that an exclusion diet and testing to find out what food intolerances or allergies may be contributing to the problems would be necessary.

The boy declined saying that he didn’t think he could live without his favorite foods.

Now, if you were listening to the story to this point (and it’s a true story), you’d probably have fallen out of your chair considering that this kid had been walking the edge of death over and over again on all the drugs. This isn’t unusual though.

A few years ago, a major magazine published the results of a study on terminally ill heart patients. The patients were told they had six months to live if they didn’t get their diet and lifestyle sorted out.

At the end of the study, about 90% of the patients in the study did indeed die.

When investigators interviewed the families to see if the patients had indeed changed their diet and lifestyle according to their cardiologist’s recommendations, they found that indeed, they had not.

The investigators found the family members making comments like, “My dad felt that if he couldn’t have his booze (or cigarettes, or cookies, etc.), life wasn’t worth living anyway.”

Thus is the nature of addiction!

In my program titled, The 1-2-3-4 For Overcoming Addiction, Obesity and Disease, I define an addiction as any repeated behavior that does not produce the results you want.

When we loose contact with the majesty, the beauty, and the mystery of life, then we tend to only feel alive when we are ingesting something that changes our perceived state to a state in which we believe we can’t create ourselves.

In other words, if eating Oreo cookies makes you feel happy and you don’t know how to create happiness yourself, then there is a tendency to eat (Oreo) happiness.

If taking a drug like Ecstasy allows you to feel love, yet you’ve not been taught how to create and feel love in your own life, then one is likely to seek out Ecstasy as a means of feeling love. And so on!

Such misunderstandings of how life works by parents, their children and adolescents world-wide is leading to a very serious problem in our world today.

We have schools that don’t have exercise education because budgeting challenges have resulted in shifting the money used for physical education to the purchase of computers and related supplies in many instances; I’ve investigated this.

We have religions and religious meetings going on all around the world every day of the week, but most don’t teach any sound diet or lifestyle practices what-so-ever.

Those that do are often very uneducated in in their approach and most of what is taught is hand-me-down dogma or cultural programming that only leads people further into health challenges.

A simple example of this is the religious drive for vegetarianism, which is common to some sects of Buddhism, Hinduism, Seventh Day Adventism, Rastafarianism, and others.

I’ve written about these challenges and beliefs in my articles titled, Vegetarianism Inside-Out, Parts 1 and 2 (available on CHEK Connect)

When people are eating and living in such a way that their physiology is disrupted, there is a mirroring of their physiological disruption in their psychological state.

When the body and mind reflect imbalance, illness of body and mind are a natural byproduct. If we keep treating such issues with drugs and praying for God to fix the problem, we are only likely to get exactly what we create.

Sadly, when “God answers prayers for help”, it often comes by way of someone suggesting that we see a practitioner, therapist of doctor that is more inclined to natural therapies that cover the essentials before invasive medical procedures are tried.

Just as the boy in the story mentioned above was offered diet therapy and declined, or the heart patients were offered diet and lifestyle therapies and were declined, most praying for God’s help expect an Angel to come wave a magic wand so they feel better again and can return to their boozing, smoking, and eating junk food full force!

God (Consciousness) works in mysterious ways.

Since God is Prime Source, there isn’t anyone or anything that isn’t of God. T

herefore, when someone gives us sound, safe advice, and we don’t follow it, without realizing it, we may well have just rejected God’s attempt to guide and help us heal!

SOUL~BODY~MIND: Chi Flow Basics

For those of you with physical, emotion, or mental problems that you are seeking medical help for, or who have been praying for help, this is a message from the consciousness in me to the consciousness in you!

In general, most physicians agree to follow the Hippocratic Oath, which is thought to have been created by Hippocrates, who is the ancient physician entrusted with the title of, The Father Of Medicine. Here is a translation that I retrieved from www.wikipedia.com:

Original, translated into English:[4]

I swear by Apollo, the healer, Asclepius, Hygieia, and Panacea, and I take to witness all the gods, all the goddesses, to keep according to my ability and my judgment, the following Oath and agreement:

To consider dear to me, as my parents, him who taught me this art; to live in common with him and, if necessary, to share my goods with him; To look upon his children as my own brothers, to teach them this art, without charging a fee; and that by my teaching, I will impart a knowledge of this art to my own sons, and to my teacher’s sons, and to disciples bound by an indenture and oath according to the medical laws, and no others.

I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.

I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan; and similarly I will not give a woman a pessary to cause an abortion.

But I will preserve the purity of my life and my arts.

I will not cut for stone, even for patients in whom the disease is manifest; I will leave this operation to be performed by practitioners, specialists in this art.

In every house where I come I will enter only for the good of my patients, keeping myself far from all intentional ill-doing and all seduction and especially from the pleasures of love with women or with men, be they free or slaves.

All that may come to my knowledge in the exercise of my profession or in daily commerce with men, which ought not to be spread abroad, I will keep secret and will never reveal.

If I keep this oath faithfully, may I enjoy my life and practice my art, respected by all men and in all times; but if I swerve from it or violate it, may the reverse be my lot.

As I’m sure you can see, a significant percentage of physicians have wondered dangerously from the Oath set forth as their practice guidelines!

Since we aren’t going to change that any time soon, by understanding the very basics of how the body-mind construct functions, you can significantly reduce your need for medical intervention by dong your part as your own physician first!

To help people do this safely, I created my multimedia e-book, The Last 4 Doctors You’ll Ever Need – How To Get Healthy Now!, and my book, How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy!, and my audio/workbook program titled, You Are What You Eat!

I suggest starting there before you become the source material or case study for another book like Against Medical Advice sighted above.

Looking now at my diagram, let’s do a short tour of the realities of what and who you are so you can have a basic understanding of how to manage and recreate yourself.

Soul: Soul simply means Consciousness.

If Consciousness were not the equal of Prime Source, First Principle, or “God”, then there could be nothing “created” here.

Though many scientists and medical people argue that consciousness is the product of brains, theoretical physicist Amit Goswami encourages us to ask a better question! What created brains?

Mind: Mind is the word used to describe vibration – all vibration in any spectrum of possibility.

Mind is the product of consciousness; if you aren’t conscious, you have no awareness of, nor ability to use (your) Mind. When consciousness is enclosed within any body, be it an energy body or a physical body (which is also composed of energy!), the result is an individual mind or “ego”.

Ego: Ego is the name for an encapsulated consciousness or a soul-self. Your mind is the means by which you choose.

Emotion: This word means (e-motion) energy~in~motion.

Emotional energies are the basis of our capacity to have feelings. Without emotions, you couldn’t possibly know you are thinking.

All thoughts produce emotions and all emotions express themselves in and as thoughts; sadness is expressed to the other by the thought expression, “I’m sad”.

Physical/Body: The body is the end-product of consciousness stepped-down in and as mind, which is further stepped-down into the more based energies of emotion, which is further stepped-down into the more gross energies and constructs we refer to as (our) body.

As you can see by my diagram, thoughts are the chief governing force that converts the Unconditional Potential of Consciousness into conditions; this not that, that not this!

We embody and enliven our thoughts as more tangible energies in the form of “word”; word also means “vibration” in metaphysics.

When we say something to ourselves (even in our own heads) or someone else, we are actualizing by energizing.

“I love myself” actualizes and energizes the energy of love as contained in the very vibration of the words.

Because the act of creating words involves the muscles of the body, it must also involve the glands, organs and other elements of the body, for all aspects of the body mind construct are supportive on any motor-action or function.

Therefore, we energize embodiment of thoughts to the degree that they become “words”, be they words within our own head, or words expressed outwardly.

It can be seen with a sensitive Electroencephalograph (measuring brain activity) coupled with electromyography (which measures the electrical activity in muscles) that all thoughts produce action in the body.

With each repeated thought-action, we facilitate the mind-body pathways commiserate with the thoughts and emotions we repeat; the more we repeat any thought-action, the more easily it occurs on a future occasion.

Therefore, the more we embody any disempowering belief, the more easily we express it as a tangible reality. The converse is equally true, but those people are rarely ever sick!

6 Foundation Principles

To the right of my diagram, you see the 6 Foundation Principles I teach.

Before seeking any potentially addictive or dangerous medical interventions, or before seeking the use of recreational drugs to help you get away from what you create each day, it is wise to seek council from a trained CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach or CHEK Exercise Coach to learn how to create health and well-being naturally.

I teach these principles as an adjunct to the books, audios and videos I’ve created for the public in my Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 1 course, which is specifically designed to get people healthy enough to be an authentic Holistic Health and Lifestyle Coach.

If you are having body, emotion, or mind challenges, it won’t hurt you at all to try the methods I share in my courses, and Advanced Training Programs.

They all fall within the boundaries of the Hippocratic Oath, even though I’m a Holistic Health Practitioner, not a physician.

When you take responsibility for the amazing gift of life invested within and around you, you will naturally want to use the wisdom that created life to heal instead of becoming the subject of a dangerous medical experiment or becoming a drug companies (human) lab rat!

If after applying natural principles and taking responsibility for yourself for a reasonable period of time (at least 6-12 months), you still have unresolved issues, ask your skilled health and lifestyle coach or chosen therapist (who should exemplify the health and vitality you seek!) if they can recommend a good physician for you.

All forms of aches, pains, addictions and illness are great opportunities to learn and grow as a human being.

If they are avoided and you try to sell your problems to a doctor or therapist, you are very likely to literally sell your opportunity to (consciously) learn about and become who and what you truly are!

which can only be First Principle.

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
