June 2006 Miami

WSSC Spinning Conference – June 2-4, 2006

Here I am lecturing at the spinning conference. I support their personal trainer education with my lectures. Here I’m lecturing about the integrated nature of the human being, explaining things “as I see them”. Therefore, we could say that I’m sharing C.H.E.K philosophy here. That is something I love to do, particularly when you consider that it is non-toxic, non-addictive, has been known to help people look and feel better, and, to date, there have been no casualties. That’s a hell of a lot better record than our government can boast

Here (above and below) I’m giving a lecture titled The Absolute Essence of Periodization. In this lecture, I describe the importance of managing yourself correctly in the 24 hour circadian cycle that you and I know of as one day. This is critical considering that a typical microcycle is three days, and therefore, any mistakes made in a 24 hour circadian period are likely to be repeated three times each microcycle! Not ideal! In this presentation, it becomes clear to the student that to be a good coach (even of your “self”), you must have a solid grasp of the basics of how to eat, move and be healthy. I have fully expanded upon these vital concepts in my book titled, How To Eat, Move and Be Healthy! No the title is not a coincidence!

After the spinning conference was over, I spent the day with one of my favorite people, Ximena Gonzalez. Ximena has had great success with her health and fitness segments on the TeleMundo TV station in Miami and is now filming a pilot for a full-time show featuring herself as the host. She will teach the many important principles of how to regain your health and vitality naturally. Ximena is Columbian and wishes to focus on bringing the C.H.E.K principles to the Latin community first and then expending outward from there. I’m very excited to contribute to Ximena’s project because she is a great communicator and a passionate crusader for well-being. She and her husband Pablo are also living examples of the PPS Success Mastery Program – – Thank You Ximena and Pablo!

Here you see me and Donnie Ramon in his new Miami gym. Donnie Ramon, a retired Navy Seal and great friend, is an inspiration to many C.H.E.K Practitioners in Florida. Congratulations Donnie, on your new gym! BELOW: Here you can see Donnie’s gym floor. His space was last a Yoga studio and carries a lovely energy. I’m so excited that people in Miami have another center for cultivating Well-being! Thanks for your hard work and willingness to help others Donnie!

Well, that’s it for now. NLC II begins this Friday at the C.H.E.K Institute here in Vista. I’ll get a couple shots for you for upcoming blog segments. After that, I’m off to Sydney and Brisbane, Australia to teach, offer more lectures and another NLC II.

Bye for now, and always remember, To “Be” is to Love, and to Love is to “BE”.

With Chi,

Paul Chek
