Heal Your Inner Child with Rachel Fiori

Happy Thursday everyone! Hope your week is going great!

Here’s two pointed questions for you… Do you recognize what sorts of things trigger you and what do you do about it when it happens?

For example, my stepfather is one of my triggers, so if I was working with someone who resembled him, the broken child in me might become nervous or anxious. It takes a fair bit of honest introspection and a real commitment to healing work to realize what’s going on and disconnect from it.

By the way, people can have hundreds of triggers

Heal Your Inner Child with Rachel Fiori

In my recent Living 4D conversation, Rachel Fiori reminds us when our brains get triggered or activated, that’s a reminder where our healing needs to start.

“I cannot be triggered if I am healed and whole, but it doesn’t mean you suddenly stop feeling human emotions either…

“One of the misconceptions I see in a lot of healing and coaching work that people try to teach is that be aware of your inner child and which is great, but how about healing your inner child?”

Of course, this doesn’t mean giving up being playful either. Remember, there’s a huge gap between playfulness and immaturity. Giving up that part of your life leads to all sorts of problems ranging from anxiety and depression to a lack of productivity.

Rachel and I get into the real nitty gritty of what it takes to heal those wounds that trigger you in this short video excerpt from our much longer Living 4D conversation.

If you enjoy this brief excerpt, I hope you’ll listen to my entire Living 4D conversation with Rachel Fiori and check out her Masters of Self-University website.

Love and chi,

Paul
