EXPANDING AWARENESS

Hello and Good Day from Toronto!

We had a busy, productive day in class yesterday.

My students have had plenty of opportunity to explore their thoughts, beliefs and emotions and question them. We’ve looked into a variety of belief systems and I’ve done my best to share where the limitations of each of the common belief systems exists so that as coaches, they can remain open minded.

It is only when we have awareness of all common belief systems that we can help people find ways of expanding their own awareness. If we adhere to any belief system beyond the point at which it helps us create well-being in our life and our relationships, it becomes a disease, a mind-virus.

Sadly, many use their mind-viruses to justify their belief that their pain is caused by someone else. This is the nature of the shadow and unfortunately any idea held to too tightly becomes rigid enough to block or reflect the light of love; we don’t see a person’s love in that state, we only see that if they are right, we are wrong.

We studied the principles of Holistic Lifestyle Coaching, which included many practical methods I’ve developed for helping others transition into freedom from addiction to alcohol, tobacco, coffee and sugar. The students seemed to really enjoy that.

We then studied how chakras function and how the chakra system relates to the world at large. Today we will learn methods for reading a person’s energy field and chakra system and how to use inquiry to identify the etiology of their challenge(s) in life. We will also explore new ways of cultivating chi or life-force.

We’ve got a very busy day ahead. Tomorrow, Sunday, will be our final day and that’s when I teach my students how to put all their training together into a functional, practical working system for holistic lifestyle coaching. This is a great group so it should be fun for all.

On another note, one of my students who lives here in Fort Erie, ON, Courtney Dobias, gifted me with some of her hand-crafted organic herbal teas to try. Her line is called Infusion Tea. They are excellent so I thought I’d share that resource with you. If you are interested in learning more about her teas, you can reach her at the following email address: [email protected] or phone 905-328-6113.

I hope all of you find time to enjoy the grand mystery of life this weekend.

Love and chi,
Paul Chek
