Debunking the Cholesterol Myth with Dr. Paul Saladino

Happy Thursday everyone!

This week’s blog/vlog is a short one, but it’s a concentrated dose of important information…

Cholesterol is a subject many people hear about for the first time when their doctors warn them after routine blood work that they have too much of the “bad” stuff, namely low-density lipoproteins (LDL).

Conventional medicine says too much LDL is bad because it blocks your blood vessels and increases your heart disease risks.

The subject of cholesterol — one of the biggest medical hoaxes on the planet — came up briefly during my recent Living 4D conversation with Dr. Paul Saladino, author of The Carnivore Code.

“Cholesterol is a steroid molecule that is packaged into lipoproteins, one of which is LDL. But, colloquially, the term cholesterol refers to many of these lipoproteins carrying cholesterol and triglycerides in the human body. Within Western medicine, there is a prevailing idea that LDL cholesterol causes heart disease and plaque formation in the arteries. This, to me, is absurd on so many levels.”

Debunking the cholesterol myth was so important to Paul, he devoted an entire chapter of The Carnivore Code to it.

No matter whether it’s LDL or HDL (low-density lipoproteins), all cholesterol is good cholesterol!

What’s really bad? Buying into bad information hook, line and sinker that scares you into taking a statin drug you really don’t need.

If you enjoy this excerpt, I hope you’ll listen to our entire conversation and take a look at Paul’s book too!

Love and chi,

Paul
