Countdown to Our Biggest Event Ever + 4 Kinds of Support Part 2

BlackFriday2017banner edit

Last Friday, we opened up pre-registration for everyone interested in this week’s very special Black Friday event, and the response has been amazing! It’s on track to be the biggest ever worldwide SALE in our history!

Fair warning, it’s not going to be possible for everyone to get a place on one of our global 2018 Advanced Training Programs (ATP).

Space is limited as we keep our class sizes intentionally small for the best possible learning experience. Many of our 2018 courses are nearing capacity on some dates and locations already.

I wish we could provide more courses, but as you may know we are very particular about the quality of our teachings, not simply the quantity. So this Friday may be your last opportunity to study with C.H.E.K Institute until 2019 on many of our LIVE programs!

We have a team of high level C.H.E.K Practitioners on hand this week to answer any questions you may have about our education system. If you would like guidance on which ATP to attend in 2018 or simply want assistance in choosing your FREE bonuses, complete an interest form and one of them will be in touch!

  • For North America, click here!
  • For Europe, click here!
  • For South Pacific, click here!

So, if you are serious about studying with the C.H.E.K Institute and furthering your skills and knowledge in 2018, click on the appropriate link above and register your interest! GOOD LUCK! I hope you get to learn and grow with us.

The 4 Kinds of Support Part 2

Last week, I shared part 1 of a two-part series about the four types of support we all need when we are being guided or coached by others. To recap, I divided these four kinds of support into two categories:

Yin or feminine aspects

  1. Emotional Support
  2. Compassion

Yang or masculine aspects

  1. Information
  2. Practical Guidance

We covered the Yang aspects in part 1, so today I’ll talk about the Yin aspects.

Emotional support is very important as our emotions can often create a field of energy that can overwhelm our mind. See Valerie Hunt’s book, Infinite Mind, for more on this subject. As Chip and Dan Heath point out in their excellent book, Switch, if something is not emotionally appealing or rewarding, people are not likely to go through the change process effectively and learn new, sustainable habits.

Here are some of the other concepts that I talk about in my vlog this week:

  • “Name it, Blame it, Tame it,” a technique I learned from the work of Stanley Krippner.
  • The biology of emotions and the link between emotions and hormones.
  • Emotions and values trespassing.
  • Compassion: Understanding without judgment.

I hope you enjoy my vlog today!

Love and chi,
