The Journey of a Shaman With Angie Chek

Happy Tuesday!

This week’s blog is a little later than usual as it’s been very hectic around Heaven House, balancing my home life with Penny and Angie and two growing children, feeding your education with new programs and course curriculums at the CHEK Institute — as well as interviewing interesting people for my Living 4D With Paul Chek podcasts — and working with a full load of clients!

Although pecking the keys on my laptop as I describe these responsibilities all by themselves makes me feel tired, I’m happy to be living a dream-affirmative life and sharing what I know with the world which is you.

So, what do you know about Shamanism?

The history of Shamanism as a spiritual practice is a very deep one, even more so than religion. In truth, religion sprung out of Shamanism.

Nowadays, however, almost anyone can call himself/herself a Shaman. For the average person, it can be really difficult to know the difference between a traditional, trained Shaman and one who claims he/she is a Shaman but is merely borrowing the word.

The Journey of a Shaman With Angie Chek

don Oscar Miro-Quesada Solevo defines a Shaman as “one who develops a personal and intimate relationship with the unseen world for the purpose of being of service as a teacher. This relationship is cultivated experientially through self-induced altered states of consciousness, ritual ceremony and refined energetic awareness.”

If you don’t know already, my wife, Angie Chek, is not only a CHEK Practitioner and Faculty Member at the CHEK Institute, she’s a Shaman and a powerful one at that…

Angie described Shamanism in simpler terms but very elegantly and beautifully as “this deep connection to the earth in the spirits of animals and plants and being aware that everything is alive,” during our Living 4D With Paul Chek interview we did earlier this year.

Angie’s journey into the Shamanic world began nearly a decade ago, but even she would say the signs that she was meant for this journey were out there a long time ago when she was a child.

This week, I’d like to share a deeper look into what the modern journey of a Shaman looks and feels like from Angie’s deeply spiritual perspective that led her to Nine Gates Mystery School and into energy healing.

After you learn more about Angie’s journey, maybe you’ll want to do some deeper exploring of your own too…

Love and chi,

Paul
